Diplomatic and Consular Service Department was established on 19 April 2007 and commenced its activity on 01 September 2007.

The management and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, leading academics and lecturers from native and foreign higher education institutions are involved into the training process. 

The Department provides special training courses in both pre-requisite and variable syllabi for the specialization 8.000006 – Foreign Policy, with Diplomatic and Consular Service being the major.

The Department’s activity is focused on the professional training of the specialists in the sphere of international relations and provides the Academy’s trainees with solid professional background, skills and experience for the chosen specialization (8.000006 – Foreign Policy). The use of credit system is an important factor for improving the learning process according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) standards in the framework of Bologna process.
